A welcoming space for gathering.
First U was established in 1908 as a focal point for the community. A place to gather, share experiences and celebrate life with all of its joys and sorrows.
We invite you to use our beautiful, historical and accessible building for weddings, memorials, meetings, and music events. It features a warm and inviting interior with great acoustics, a sound system and a grand piano. The large flat screen monitor and high speed internet allows you to broadcast your event on Zoom or other service. In addition, there are multiple meeting rooms.
Our Sanctuary can seat about 140, and our Social Hall (in the lower level) about 40. There is a light use kitchen connected to the Social Hall. We also have plenty of parking.
We ask for a sliding scale donation for building use and that your event abide by our Seven Principals which are basically respect for everyone.
